About the Project
The Peace & Pussy Project is an affirmation and celebration of beauty and the power of the female component in every one of us.
In the Western world, in a patriarchal culture and the neoliberal paradigm of functioning, the emphasis is placed on goal-driven action focused on rivalry and a lack of empathy. In a Taoist approach, this is an attitude that comes from Yang energy (contrary to Yin energy that the Peace & Pussy project represents).
In the European tradition, this concept was developed by C. G. Jung who called the Yin and Yang energy Anima and Animus. This area is explored within Peace & Pussy through journalism, meetings, workshops, talks and discussions and… even our own brand.
The concept and idea behind this project is multi-layered and addresses several themes in particular:
** The normalisation of sexuality as an everyday aspect of humanity, which is far from eroticism and pornography, but also far from tabooisation and sidelining it, pushing it to the dark and “sinful” side because it is in this dark sphere of taboo where abuse, harassment and contempt can occur;
** The celebration and affirmation of the human component in every person (regardless of their gender identity), the brand’s colours refer to the principle of Yin and Yang and this is also how we perceive the “feminine” and “masculine” aspects – as complementary energies;
** Making oneself and others aware that the female sexual organs are a fantastic miracle of nature – not only do they include an organ that is PURELY for pleasure but they also have superpowers that Superman himself could only dream about! It’s worth becoming aware of just how wonderful and exceptional women’s bodies are and that they deserve to be treated with respect, care and love because it is from women’s bodies that future generations emerge and it is the hormonal cocktail that emerges in women that is subsequently passed on to the child, and the cognitive matrices that are then later shaped and formed in the minds of individuals rest on them.
** Becoming aware, within the scope of Jungian concepts, of the Anima and Animus, and being conscious of the fact that gender binarism and heteronormativity are only some of the theories relating to a human person that – as life itself shows – is not at all a reflection of reality because every person has their own personal sexual energy and so-called sexual orientation can change in a given person throughout their life; it is our energies that attract us to each other and not the sexual organs hidden in our underwear;
** Exploring the way we function in the world, which is identified with Yin energy, commonly referred to as female energy, and questions about how effective is the application of its methods in “combating” patriarchy, as well as what are the possible alternatives to the action of the so-called Yang male energy? In other words, what can Peace & Pussy bring to the world? And how? And can this replace this “combat”?
** Supporting women in their search for their own personal paths and exploring their personal experience of their femininity and the way in which they want to function in the world; patriarchy assumes and teaches us all that a woman is “defective man” – the whole of Freud’s theory is based on phallocentrism, hence, on the assumption that it is a person with a penis who is the starting point in the experience of humanity. This is a fundamental error, the reproduction of which is possible because women have only recently received access to the world of academia where so-called scientific theories arise. And what would it be like to look at the world not phallocentrically but pussycentrically? Men cannot tell us this. It is women who will walk this path and, step by step, fill the world with their theories, experiences, observations, dreams and fantasies.

Freedom has many different aspects to it. For the Foundation, one such aspect is financial independence, allowing it to operate in accordance with its values and objectives. This is particularly important whenever values and views are at stake that could turn out to be politically contentious.
